 Brandon Barahona

Hi, my name is Brandon Barahona, I hail from the small city of Warsaw in the state of Indiana, a state well-known for its growing of corn and soy beans. I grew up with a family of seven and of my siblings, I am right in the middle: two older brothers, a younger brother and a younger sister.

I graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with a degree in marketing and a minor in Spanish. I spent one of my semesters in Alicante, Spain and loved every bit of it. After going back to the states, I knew that I wanted to return to Spain in my future so after a couple months working as a financial advisor, I decided to quit and become a language assistant in Madrid, so here I am!

Some of my hobbies include playing soccer/ fútbol, spending time with my friends, staying physically active, reading, traveling and playing Smash Ultimate on my Nintendo Switch- my Captain Falcon is unbeatable.

   John-Paul de Souza

Hello everyone!
My name is JP and I’m from Sydney, Australia. I am very excited to begin working as a language assistant and I can’t wait to meet all of you, as I have heard wonderful things about the IES San Agustín de Guadalix community! I sincerely hope that I can help the students of the school improve their English, learn about Australia and come to enjoy their time at school! I myself recently finished my university studies in Ancient History and Spanish and Latin American Studies. Back home, I’m a student, tutor and, most importantly, huge sports fan who can’t wait to get an education in real fútbol from you guys!
See you soon,

    Ivonne Rodríguez

I am very excited to be a part of your staff and school! Very much looking forward to the wonderful opportunity!

Stephanie Soliz

Hello,
My name is Stephanie Soliz. I was born and raised in Los Angeles California. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Hotel Hospitality and Tourism beacuse I love to travel and learn about different cultures. This is my second year assisting in San Agustin de Guadalix! I love Spain and have visited the beautiful country two times before I decided to move here last year. Some of my favorite things to do when I am not teaching at the school are Salsa dancing, reading, and of course traveling! I have visited over 15 different countries and plan on seeing a few more this year. I speak Spanish and English fluently and have been able to perfect my Spanish since living and practicing the language here in Spain. I am excited to be back for the third time and look forward to many more fun learning experiences with the kids!
